Position: Transition Consultant

Location: Remote (Offices in Fayetteville, AR, and Dallas, TX)

Type: Flexible (Entry-Level to Senior-Level Opportunities)


Are you skilled at guiding organizations through pivotal changes? Zweig Group is always looking to connect with professionals who can help AEC firms manage transitions confidently and effectively. As a Transition Consultant, you’ll assist firms with leadership succession, ownership transitions, and strategic pivots.


What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct business valuations and support ownership transition strategies.
  • Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, and organizational pivots.
  • Help clients develop and implement leadership succession plans.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions on change management best practices.
  • Participate in presentations at Zweig Group events like ElevateAEC to share insights and connect with industry leaders.
  • Senior-level consultants: Lead transition projects, provide expert guidance, and contribute to Zweig Group’s thought leadership.


Who You Are:

  • Entry-level candidates: Interest in organizational strategy, succession planning, or M&A, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Experienced professionals: Proven expertise in transition planning, M&A, or leadership consulting within the AEC industry.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Open to occasional travel for client engagements and Zweig Group events.
